Project Engineer

We are looking for a Project Engineer to join our team. The candidate will focus on product salvation, repair, reuse and salvage components at a lesser cost. The role involves working behind the desk but opportunities for travel to build relationships with engineers and supplier engineers. Previous expanding mining experience, CAT experience, welding experience and military background are a major plus. A mechanical engineering aptitude and background is required.

Requirements

• Strong PC skills, MS Windows, especially MS Excel
• Strong understanding of Service Information System (SIS)
• Solid understanding of engineering practices: print reading, product structure and engineering change processes
• Knowledge of media authoring systems, including ACM
• Green Belt Experience
• 4 year degree in mechanical engineering or other technical discipline
• 3+ years of component repair experience
• Metal restoration background, including welding and metal fabrication
• Multiple years of technical representative w/ thorough understanding of metal wear principles and failure modes.
