Job Description
Collabera is seeking a QA Engineer/ QA Tester/ Automation Engineer for a contract position. The ideal candidate will have 5+ years of experience in build & release and QA automation, and will be proficient in SQL and agile software development methodologies.
Requirements
- Able to perform manual and automation testing
- Able to write test cases and test plan
- Review requirements specifications and technical design documents to provide timely and meaningful feedback
- Create detailed, comprehensive and well-structured test plans and test cases
- Estimate, prioritize, plan, and coordinate testing activities
- Work with Development, QA and other teams to understand changes to the existing production environment on an ongoing basis and for environment support
- Update documentation that communicates standards and best practices of the engineering team
- Design, develop and execute automation scripts using open source tools
- Identify, record, document thoroughly and track bugs
- Perform thorough regression testing when bugs are resolved
