Job Description
The Campus Safety Officer position is responsible for maintaining a safe and secure campus environment by patrolling the grounds, monitoring surveillance systems, and responding to emergencies. The officer will enforce UMSV policies and local laws, control access to facilities, and assist students and staff with safety/security concerns.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED
- Valid NYS Driver’s License
- One to three years of related experience and/or training
- Experience working in non-profit organizations, ideally within institutions of higher education
- Strong interpersonal, judgment, and analytical skills
