Job Description
This Assistant/Associate Athletic Trainer position at the College of the Holy Cross will support the athletic training services for 27 varsity sports. Responsibilities include injury evaluation, treatment, and referral, as well as prevention, evaluation, and rehabilitation. The role requires excellent communication skills and adherence to NCAA rules and college regulations.
Requirements
- Master’s degree required
- Board of Allied Health Professionals Credential required
- State of Massachusetts Board of Allied Health Professionals Licensure required
- CPR/AED/First Aid Certifications
- NPI Number preferred or ability to obtain within 30 days of hiring
- Experience managing multiple tasks
- Experience with contact/collision sports
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple projects
- Experience with contact/collision sports, field hockey, and softball
- Knowledge of a large range of medical problems
- Strong interpersonal skills
- Strong team work skills
- Ability to pass a written & verbal communication assessment
