Adjunct/Affiliate Faculty - Maternal Newborn Nursing - College of Adult and Graduate Studies

CCU is seeking Adjunct/Affiliate Faculty to teach nursing students in mental health nursing. The role involves providing instruction, supervision, and evaluation in simulation and clinical settings, and collaborating with lead course faculty. Faculty will teach on a course by course basis and may serve as a Teaching Assistant. The position is on-site and based in Lakewood, Colorado.

Requirements

• Active unencumbered license to practice as a registered nurse in Colorado.
• Documented two years of experience in the area of instruction.
• Minimum of an MSN degree in nursing from a Nursing Education Program with national nursing accreditation.
• Strong pharmacology and general treatment knowledge and skills.
• Strong written and oral communication skills, evidenced by teaching evaluations.
