Job Description
We are seeking a Medical Assistant to perform basic and routine patient care and clerical duties to assist medical providers in the care and treatment of patients. The Medical Assistant will room patients, facilitate patient-provider schedules, and perform various administrative tasks.
Requirements
- High School diploma or higher degree
- Dental or Medical Assistant certificate preferred
- Bilingual (Spanish) preferred
- Experience working in a clinical setting
- Electronic health records and general billing knowledge
- Microsoft Office applications such as Word, Excel, Outlook, and Teams
- Client database systems and software tools
- Cultural Competency/Sensitivity
- Excellent communication, client relations and management skills
- Highly organized and detail oriented
- Ability to comprehend established office routines and policies
- Ability to keep financial records and perform mathematical tasks
