We are looking for a highly motivated new team members to join our team. Kubernetes Administrator is responsible for managing and maintaining Kubernetes clusters deployed across on-premises or cloud environments, ensuring high availability, scalability, and performance of containerized workloads.
Requirements
- Installation, configuration, and management of Kubernetes clusters using Rancher.
- Manage cluster upgrades, scaling, and lifecycle operations across multiple environments (dev, staging, prod).
- Implement and manage access control, RBAC policies, and security best practices within Kubernetes.
- Monitor cluster performance, resource utilization, and costs; identify and resolve issues proactively.
- Define and implement backup, disaster recovery, and cluster resiliency strategies.
- Create and enforce standards and policies for namespaces, networking, storage classes, and container images.
- Automate cluster operations, deployments, and maintenance tasks using IaC tools (Terraform, Helm, Ansible) or scripting (Python, Bash, Go).
- Ensure workloads meet SLAs and business continuity requirements.
- Participate in on-call rotation and lead incident response for Kubernetes-related alerts.
- Maintain up-to-date runbooks, topology diagrams, and operational documentation.
