Area Maintenance Technician

Area Maintenance Technician role at CMC, responsible for maintaining and repairing shop machinery and mechanical equipment, working with industrial electrical and hydraulic systems, and participating in the CMC Safety Programs.

Requirements

• Attend training regarding applicable equipment
• Effectively monitor and inspect equipment for defects
• Maintain and repair shop machinery and/or mechanical equipment
• Perform all facets of the repair safely
• Mentor and train other maintenance team members
• Participates in the CMC Safety Programs and proactively upholds the CMC Safety Culture
• Project planning including estimating man hours and job completion hours
• Purchase supplies and parts for repair
• Train machine operators on proper equipment use
• Work alongside other Technicians on job orders and troubleshooting
• Perform building maintenance as required
• Maintain good general housekeeping
