Job Description
Commonwealth Fusion Systems is seeking a detail-oriented Manufacturing Engineer to design, implement, and optimize manufacturing processes. The role involves collaboration with various teams to improve productivity, efficiency, and product quality. They are seeking a strong individual capable of problem-solving and contributing to the growth of their fusion power plant business.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Manufacturing Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or related field
- 5+ years of experience in a manufacturing or production engineering role
- Strong knowledge of Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, and quality systems
- Proficient in CAD software (SolidWorks, AutoCAD, etc.) and manufacturing ERP systems
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Strong communication and teamwork abilities
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs occasionally
