Job Description
Principal Engineer- WiFi position at RUCKUS Networks, part of CommScope, responsible for designing and developing cutting-edge wireless access points, collaborating with chip vendors, and optimizing wireless performance. The role involves driving innovation, enhancing SDKs, and supporting multi-platform, multi-standard solutions.
Requirements
- Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Networking or Wireless and 8+ years of relevant experience
- In-depth knowledge of WiFi access point (AP) architecture and WiFi standards
- Experience in guiding architectural and design changes in WiFi AP products
- Expertise in embedded systems, kernel, and device drivers
- Strong coding experience in C/C++, Python for embedded systems development
- Proven experience with SDK integration across multiple platforms with different vendors
- Strong understanding of WiFi communication protocols (IEEE 802.11a/b/g/n/ac, 802.11ax, 802.11be )
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, innovative environment, pushing the boundaries of technology
- Strong problem-solving, debugging, and analytical skills
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work well in a cross-functional team environment
