Job Description
The Operating Room Nurse Position is responsible for providing optimal care to patients throughout their surgical experience. The nurse will work with the healthcare team to evaluate and complete assessments, maintain accurate records, and identify and mitigate risks. The nurse will also be responsible for patient education, inventory control, and participating in committees and quality studies.
Requirements
- Associate's Degree from an accredited school of nursing (Bachelor's preferred) with at least one year of surgical experience OR Equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Current Colorado RN License
- Current BLS
- Current ACLS/PALS (Must be obtained with 6 months of hire)
- Current CNOR and AORN professional affiliation preferred
