Job Description
The Summer Associate Program provides law students with an immersive, hands-on experience in civil law, working in different areas of the law, with opportunities for focused research and policy advocacy.
Requirements
- Completed first or second year of law school prior to Summer 2026
- Demonstrated interest in and sensitivity to the legal needs of underserved communities
- Strong research/writing background
- Proficient in Microsoft Word, Google Docs, and legal and internet research tools
- Excellent interpersonal skills
- Strong oral and written communications skills
- Ability to relate to and work with both professionals and clients in a professional manner
- Strong analytical and organizational skills
- High dependability
