Job Description
Community Medical Services (CMS) is seeking a Substance Abuse Counselor to assist patients recovering from opioid and other substance use disorders. The role involves individual and group therapy, treatment plan development, and care coordination with other healthcare providers. Requirements
- High School Diploma, GED or higher required
- Completion of 360 hours of specialized education in substance use disorder
- One of the following licenses: SAC-IT, SAC or CSAC, LPC-IT, LPC, LMFT, APSW or LCSW
- Must provide proof of MMR (Measles, Mumps, and Rubella) and Varicella (Chickenpox)
- Current flu vaccination or willingness to receive one
