Job Description
Community Medical Services (CMS) is hiring a Substance Abuse Counselor to assist patients recovering from opioid and other illicit substance use disorders in a supportive work environment. The role involves individual and group sessions, treatment planning, assessment, and collaboration with other providers to foster recovery. CMS is a CARF-accredited program dedicated to addressing the opioid epidemic in Arizona.
Requirements
- Maintain and manage a caseload in compliance with regulatory standards
- Conduct individual sessions and facilitate group counseling
- Complete comprehensive behavioral health assessments
- Coordinate care with other providers
- Assist in screening and coordinating primary care services
