Job Description
The Medical Social Worker provides social functioning for patients and families impacted by illness, applying a strengths-based and person-centered philosophy of care. They work as part of a multidisciplinary team to meet the total needs of the patient.
Requirements
- Master's Degree in Social Work or equivalent
- One (1) year of clinical and/or medical social work experience
- Current CA Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) license (preferred)
- Previous experience as a social worker in an acute medical setting (preferred)
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) (preferred)
