Job Description
The Telemetry Secretary Technician will support the department's operations by performing EKG monitoring, providing patient care, maintaining equipment, and ensuring accurate records. This role involves both nursing and administrative duties, operating in a fast-paced, hospital setting.
Requirements
- High school Diploma or equivalent (GED)
- One (1) year experience performing Nursing/Patient Care Assistant duties in an acute care setting or skilled nursing facility
- One (1) year experience performing Administrative/Unit Secretarial duties in an acute care setting or skilled nursing facility
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification
- Rhythm Recognition Course Certificate
- Successful completion of the CMH Telemetry Technician competency within three (3) months of hire
