Data Architect - Customer 360 (1099 contract, Remote, must be based in US)

CompassX is a boutique business and technology consulting firm looking for a Data Architect to design and build a modern, cloud-based data architecture that powers self-service analytics and Customer 360 experiences.

Requirements

• 10+ years of experience in data architecture or advanced data engineering
• Strong hands-on experience with Snowflake (preferred) and/or BigQuery
• Expertise in dbt for modular data modeling, testing, and transformation
• Solid proficiency in Python, including automation and data processing libraries (Pandas, SQLAlchemy, etc.)
• Proven track record designing self-service analytics platforms or Customer 360 data products
• Understanding of data governance, lineage, and metadata management
• Background in Financial Services or Life Sciences is highly preferred
• Familiarity with orchestration and CI/CD tooling (e.g., Airflow, Dagster, GitHub Actions)

Benefits

• $90 - $125 an hour
