Crop Insurance Officer

Compeer Financial is seeking a Crop Insurance Officer to market and sell insurance products to clients and prospective clients. The successful candidate will have a strong understanding of crop insurance programs and agriculture, as well as excellent client service and negotiating skills.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in business administration, finance, economics, agriculture or an equivalent combination of education and experience
• Experience in agribusiness/farming industry or similar experience in agriculture credit or closely related field
• Willing to obtain state insurance license to sell crop insurance
• General knowledge of crop insurance programs and information, grain marketing, finance and macroeconomics
• Analytical and problem-solving skills
• Effective negotiating and selling skills
• Strong client service and interpersonal skills in dealing with both internal and external clients
• Ability to protect the confidentiality, security, and integrity of the organization's brand
