Job Description
Component Repair Technologies, Inc. (CRT) is seeking an experienced Manual VTL Machinist Technician for a full-time position. This role involves machining turbine engine components to meet specified dimensions, contributing to a diverse customer base including aerospace and marine industry leaders. The company is a part of a large Machining Department focused on CNC VTL, Mill, Grind and Manual Mill and VTL, Tool & Die, and R&D.
Requirements
- Five plus years of experience in the operation of Manual Turret Lathe (VTL) equipment.
- First article experience.
- Creative problem-solving skills.
- Machine setup & fixturing experience.
- Understanding of GD&T, critical dimensioning, and technical drawing interpretation.
- Ability to identify and correct machining problems.
- Ability to rework experience.
- Basic trigonometry knowledge.
- Shop math principles understanding.
- Hand-held power tools & familiarity with hand assembly/disassembly.
- Knowledge of English communication.
