Job Description
Compunetix is seeking a buyer for their Instrumentation Systems applications, a leading manufacturer of digital collaboration platforms. The buyer will be responsible for purchasing materials, developing supply plans, managing proposals and contracts, and facilitating communication between suppliers, customers, and internal departments. They'll also analyze technical issues and negotiate contracts.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree with a relevant degree (Engineering studies, Supply Chain Management, Business)
- 3-5 years of purchasing experience in Electronic Components & Assemblies
- Experience with electronic assembly/production environments
- Knowledge of printed circuit board production/assembly
- Understanding of ERP, planning, and expediting processes
- Supervisory experience is a plus
