Lead a team of production employees on the 1st shift in a food manufacturing environment, driving process improvements and ensuring production key performance indicators (KPI) goals are met.
Requirements
- Oversee multiple production lines in a cell daily production to maintain quality, productivity, and cost standards.
- Train and develop team members to ensure job responsibilities are performed effectively.
- Support sanitation operations to maintain a clean and food-safe environment.
- Enforce plant rules, regulations, and procedures consistently.
- Evaluate team performance and provide coaching for improvement.
- Promote and maintain compliance with safety programs, including lock-out/tag-out, personal protective equipment, and confined space entry.
- Identify and resolve production bottlenecks while driving continuous improvement initiatives.
- Ensure all quality and regulatory standards, specifications, and policies are met or exceeded.
- Manage projects focused on root cause analysis and lead Kaizen events to drive sustainable process improvements.
