The Program Director Medical Assistant is responsible for overseeing the development, implementation, and evaluation of the program, leading faculty, managing curriculum, and fostering student success.
Requirements
- Develop, implement, and evaluate program policies, procedures, and goals to support student success
- Supervise and mentor faculty, promoting professional development and instructional excellence
- Maintain compliance with accreditation, certification, and regulatory requirements
- Teach classes as and when necessary and as permitted by any programmatic accreditor
- Cultivate partnerships with healthcare providers to facilitate externships and employment opportunities
- Engage with advisory boards, professional organizations, and industry leaders to align the program with workforce demands
- Represent the institution at networking events, conferences, and accreditation meetings
- Establish/maintain a high performance team of professional, motivated and engaged staff
