Middle School ELA Teacher - Oregon Connections Academy

Oregon Connections Academy is a tuition-free, online school serving students in grades K–12 throughout Oregon. The Middle School ELA Teacher will work from their home office within Oregon, managing instructional programs and supporting students through virtual means.

Requirements

• Highly qualified and certified to teach MS ELA in Oregon
• Multiple Oregon endorsements strongly preferred
• Oregon ESL/ELL endorsement strongly preferred
• Strong technology skills (especially with Microsoft Office products and Google Suite)
• Excellent communication skills, both oral and written
• Highly organized and punctual
• Customer focused approach
• High degree of flexibility
• Demonstrated ability to work well in fast paced environment
• Team player track record
• Willingness to travel for marketing and state testing events (may require occasional overnight travel)
• Ability to work some occasional evening hours, as needed to support some families
