CDL Flatbed and Service Driver

This position is for a CDL Flatbed and Service Driver with Conner Industries, Inc. The job involves transporting lumber and finished goods, operating a forklift, and assisting in warehouse operations. The driver will work on an evening shift, driving twice in the evening from Conroe to Tyler, and will be responsible for inspecting vehicles, planning routes, and complying with truck driving rules and regulations.

Requirements

• Class A CDL license
• Proven work experience as a truck driver and forklift operator
• Experience delivering both van and flatbed loads
• Hands-on experience with electronic equipment and software (GPS, AVL units and CB)
• Ability to tarp loads as needed
• Able to walk up to a mile throughout the day
• Extensive knowledge of applicable truck driving rules and regulations
• No recent moving or driving violations
