Maintenance Technician

Maintenance Technician needed for a full-time position at ConMet, a leading global provider to original equipment manufacturers and aftermarket channels. The role involves performing repairs and maintenance of plant machinery and facilities, as well as performing routine inspections and minor repairs.

Requirements

• Installation, troubleshooting and repairs of plant machinery
• Routine inspections and minor repairs of all material handling equipment
• Perform Die cast foundry lubrication and inspections per PM program requirements
• Perform repair and new installations and other general improvement projects
• Perform Plant crane inspections per PM program requirements
• Assemble, install and program mechanical, electro-mechanical and automated machinery and systems
• Light fabrication and repairs to platforms, furnace launder supports, catwalks, etc.
• Perform plant rigging and installation of equipment
• Perform preventative and predictive maintenance activities as specified
• Maintain storage and work areas in a clean and orderly manner
• Small motor, pump and misc. equipment repair
