Paralegal

CGS is seeking a motivated Paralegal to provide litigation and administrative support to United States Attorneys. The role involves a variety of tasks including drafting legal documents, managing collection activity, performing legal research, and assisting with trial preparation. Requirements

• Paralegal certificate, JD, or currently attending an ABA-accredited law school (completed at least one year of study)
• One year of legal training or legal experience OR at least two years of college education
• At least one year of litigation paralegal experience or project experience
• Automated litigation support experience valued
• Basic legal knowledge
• Sufficient experience with legal research tools like LEXIS and Westlaw
• Excellent written and oral communication skills
• Thorough knowledge and hands-on familiarity with computer applications (word processing, databases, spreadsheets, imaging)
• Basic familiarity with ESI tools and eDiscovery procedures
