Job Description
Contentful is seeking a Senior Engineering Manager to join its AI Platform team, focused on building a robust and scalable platform for AI-powered developer tools. This role involves shaping the strategy around customer empowerment, internal team enablement, and enterprise-ready LLM access, driving measurable business value and ensuring responsible AI development. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background and experience leading high-performing engineering teams.
Requirements
- 5+ years experience in technical leadership, specifically managing software/platform engineering teams.
- Proven track record delivering high-quality software and platform capabilities.
- Deep engineering background including cloud architectures, containerization, and scalable APIs.
- Advanced stakeholder management and cross-functional collaboration skills.
- Experience embedding governance, compliance, and privacy (e.g., GDPR, CCPA, AI transparency requirements).
