Job Description
Continental Disc Corporation (CDC) designs and manufactures safety-critical products for pressure-containing vessels. This Assembler role involves assembling rupture disc units in a 2nd shift, using automated equipment and adhering to strict safety and quality standards. The role requires attention to detail and effective time management. This is a repetitive, production-based role with potential for overtime.
Requirements
- Trim Teflon
- Clean rupture disc and holder parts
- Cut outside diameters of rupture discs
- Spot weld components
- Operate presses and other required equipment
- Use co-bots and other automated and robotic equipment
- Proof pressure and leak tests
- Inspect completed rupture disc assemblies
- Assemble units and prepare them for shipping
- Perform any listed essential functions in a high-volume repetitive manner when required
- Utilize and supervise the performance of automated machines
- Assist in troubleshooting and diagnosing machine performance issues
- Comply with company productivity and quality requirements
- Operate forklift when and as needed
- Perform other duties as assigned
