Machinist - 3rd Shift

Continental Disc Corporation has nearly 60 years' experience engineering and manufacturing rupture discs, valves and flame control products. A Machinist manufactures and machines parts for use in rupture disc assemblies in accordance with company manufacturing procedures and safety policies.

Requirements

• Determine setup requirements, sequence of operations and tolerance of finished parts using blueprints, drawings, specifications, manuals and instructions
• Measure, mark and scribe dimensions and reference points on material as needed to set guides for subsequent machining
• Machine bar stock to specified dimensions
• Verify conformance of finished parts to specifications using precision measuring equipment
• Perform preventative maintenance on equipment as needed
• Perform other duties as assigned, based on workload and business need
