Job Description
Converge is a climate and construction technology startup focused on decarbonising concrete. They are seeking a Research Engineer to join their concrete technology team to support a cutting-edge research project on novel methods for material behaviour characterisation. The role involves designing, testing, and scaling experimental setups for automated data acquisition.
Requirements
- Proven track record conducting deep research and designing experiments
- Experience designing and building laboratory setups with benchtop equipment
- Strong familiarity with benchtop lab equipment (oscilloscopes, function generators, etc.)
- Experience with mixed-signal electronics and circuit design
- Hands-on experience with microcontrollers, multiplexers, and signal processing
- Strong programming/scripting skills with automation
- Experience with large-scale experimental setups
