Job Description
E11 Bio is seeking a creative and passionate Spatial ‘omics scientist to co-develop next-generation technology for high-throughput connectomic imaging using molecular barcodes. The role involves developing methods for highly-multiplexed imaging at the scale of mammalian brains, working closely with experts in cellular barcoding and computational reconstructive algorithms, and presenting/publishing results for public benefit. E11 Bio is a non-profit focused on neuroscience research.
Requirements
- PhD in biology or a related field
- 0-3 years of experience after post-PhD
- Experience with 3D spatial transcriptomics
- Experience with spatial proteomics
- Extensive experience with DNA-based readout (e.g. HCR, RCA)
- Experience with fluorescence microscope modalities
- Experience with molecular biology techniques
- Excellent communication, record keeping, and attention to detail skills.
