Job Description
CooperSurgical is seeking a Senior Molding Engineer- Strategic Sourcing to serve as a technical resource on their global supply chain. This role focuses on plastics related tooling, materials, components, and assemblies, with a strong emphasis on strategic sourcing initiatives, risk mitigation, and cost optimization. The position involves collaboration with Global Category Managers and a commitment to innovative solutions.
Requirements
- Proactively identifies risk in the polymer/plastics supply chain.
- Achieves program objectives regarding transfer and new startup of tooling/equipment at supplier locations.
- Leads mold/tooling design activities and oversees supplier FAT.
