Cooperidge Consulting Firm is seeking a PCU (IMCU) Registered Nurse (RN) for a top Healthcare client. This progressive care role coordinates and delivers high-quality, patient-centered care, specializing in pre-operative and post-operative nursing for patients requiring intermediate monitoring.

Requirements

• Assess the patient's condition during admission and throughout each shift, promptly identifying and reporting any changes in patient status.
• Perform procedures and other monitoring functions as ordered by the medical provider, ensuring thorough and timely documentation of all administered care.
• Administer prescribed medications safely and accurately, closely monitoring the patient for therapeutic response and managing any unintended effects.
• Maintain comprehensive knowledge of medications, procedures, and equipment specifically utilized in the care of cardiac and medical-surgical patients.
• Serve as an advocate for patients and families, supporting the organization's commitment to an unparalleled patient experience.
• Collaborate effectively with medical providers and the care team to ensure coordinated and efficient delivery of pre-operative and post-operative nursing care.
