Job Description
Corcept is a research and development company focused on cortisol modulators and metabolic diseases. They have achieved FDA approval for Korlym and are actively developing relacorilant and miricorilant for endogenous hypercortisolism and MASH. The Associate Medical Director/Medical Director will lead clinical development, provide scientific oversight, and collaborate with clinical teams and external contacts.
Requirements
- Act as a clinical scientist and clinical subject matter expert.
- Act to provide medical oversight and safety monitoring for ongoing clinical trials.
- Design, develop and implement clinical studies for the applicable drug candidate.
- Develop and give internal and external presentations as a subject matter expert.
- Establish and approve scientific methods.
- Interact with principal investigators.
- Participate in regulatory discussions.
