Job Description
CoreTrust is seeking an exceptional Chief Accounting Officer to lead all accounting operations, financial reporting, audit relationships, and to serve as a key partner to FP&A and Business Finance. This role requires a transformational leader with extensive experience in PE-backed/public companies, scalable finance infrastructure, and tangible results. The CFO will build a strategic finance executive to support sustainable growth and success within the organization.
Requirements
- 15+ years progressive finance/accounting experience
- 10+ years in financial services (investment banking, asset management, or related industries)
- 5+ years in private equity-backed and/or public companies
- Proven track record of leading IPO readiness or SOX compliance
- Multiple M&A transactions including post-acquisition integration and purchase accounting
- Prior experience as Controller, VP Accounting, or CAO at PE-backed/public companies
- Deep expertise in technical accounting (ASC 606, 842, CECL, debt structures, equity compensation)
- SEC reporting experience
- ERP implementation experience
