Day One Call Center Advocate

Cornerstone disrupts violence through advocacy, support, and prevention, partnering with individuals, families, and organizations to build communities free from harm. This Day One Call Center Advocate position provides trauma-informed services, crisis response, and support to survivors of domestic violence, sexual violence, human trafficking, and general crime. The role utilizes innovative practices and technology to provide immediate and low-barrier access for victims and is assigned weekly, potentially with flexible scheduling.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in psychology, social work, or related field
• One or more years of experience providing direct crisis response services in a trauma-informed setting
• Understanding of trauma-informed care practices
• Good written and interpersonal skills
• Ability to assess, deescalate, and communicate with participants
• Knowledge of criminal justice systems and victim's rights
