Job Description
Corning is seeking a Finance Assistant Plant Controller to ensure the company’s financial accuracy and compliance with local regulations. The role involves managing plant accounting, preparing financial statements, and supporting internal controls. This is a key position within the Optical Communications segment of Corning, contributing to operational excellence and growth.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration
- 3-5 years of relevant experience
- Manufacturing and/or Cost Accounting experience preferred
- Bachelor’s degree in any field, but accounting degree preferred
- Temporary role, 6-month contract
- Strong financial and accounting background
- Proficiency with Excel & PowerPoint
