Job Description
Corning is seeking a Manufacturing Shift Technician to provide troubleshooting and support in a manufacturing facility. The role involves hands-on work with equipment, process improvements, and contributing to production teams. This position supports preventive maintenance, documentation, and ensures a safe work environment.
Requirements
- Two year electrical/mechanical/or controls technical degree (preferred); 5+ years manufacturing experience.
- Experience troubleshooting and repairing electrical and pneumatic controls.
- Experience troubleshooting and repairing simple to complex mechanical equipment.
- Familiarity with sensors, thermocouples, switches, motors, and actuators.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
- Sound decision making and prioritization skills.
- Strong communication skills.
