Job Description
Corning is seeking a Project/Fabricator Technician to work on metal cutting, fabrication, MIG/TIG welding of steel and aluminum. The role involves working with blueprints, rigging equipment, and maintaining high quality standards. Safety protocols and a commitment to quality are key to success.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification or experience in welding, fabrication, or a related field preferred.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in welding, fabrication, and machining.
- Proficiency in MIG and TIG welding of steel; experience in aluminum welding is preferred.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings.
- Knowledge of measuring instruments such as calipers, micrometers, and gauges.
- Strong knowledge of rigging techniques.
- Familiarity with various welding, cutting, and fabrication equipment.
- Excellent attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work.
