Job Description
Counsel Health is an AI-enabled, physician-supervised virtual care company seeking a Senior Research Scientist to define the future of AI + human healthcare. The role involves bridging the gap between fundamental research and product innovation, evaluating AI models, and building health-focused AI products.
Requirements
- Advanced Degree: PhD degree in Computer Science, a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- Technical Expertise: Experience in coding with Python, JavaScript/TypeScript, or R.
- AI/ML Specialization: Experience in agentic generative AI systems, Large Language Models (LLMs), and evaluation methodologies.
- Track Record: Publications in top-tier AI/ML conferences or journals, such as NeurIPS, ICML, ICLR, or CVPR.
- 2+ years of experience owning and initiating research agendas.
- Prior experience in healthcare research or working with clinical data.
- Familiarity with Healthcare Data formats, including FHIR and OMOP.
- 5+ years of coding experience in Python, JavaScript/TypeScript, or R.
