Job Description
This nonunion position offers legal representation to indigent persons at hearings and preliminary hearings. Responsibilities include representing clients, preparing briefs, and arguing legal issues before the courts. The position involves client evaluation, negotiation, and meeting clients in various settings within Berks County.
Requirements
- Juris Doctor degree from an accredited Law School
- Certification from the PA Supreme Court to perform as a Certified Legal Intern
- General knowledge of Pennsylvania Criminal Law
- Ability to use Windows based computer programs
