Job Description
The Advanced Emergency Medical Technician (AEMT) provides emergency medical and transport services to pre-hospital and interfacility settings in Knoxville, Tennessee. This role involves triage, initial assessment, providing emergency care, and recognizing medical conditions. The AEMT also works with pre-existing medical conditions and collaborates with medical personnel to ensure patient care.
Requirements
- Perform administrative tasks such as record keeping.
- Comply with standard medical procedures and safety protocols.
- Adhere to the company's dress code and vehicle maintenance standards.
- Complete annual mandatory training and EMS in-service training.
- Maintain a valid TN AEMT license OR a valid license in any Compact Member State.
