Job Description
Provides athletic training services and care on behalf of LeConte Medical Center's Sports Medicine Outreach program. Utilizes evidence-based clinical techniques to assess and treat athletic injuries.
Requirements
- Provides athletic training services for area high schools
- Utilizes evidence-based clinical techniques to effectively assess and treat athletic injuries
- Maintains accurate recordkeeping of injuries and treatment of injuries
- Develops professional contacts within the community
- Participates in annual education presentations to athletes and parents
- Assists in the coordination of pre-participation health screenings
- Administers baseline and post-injury concussion testing
- Follows policies, procedures, and safety standards
