Job Description
Heart Catheterization Laboratory Specialty RN is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse to provide nursing services to Cardiac Catheterization Lab patients in Knoxville, TN. The role involves performing catheterization procedures, monitoring patient vital signs, and collaborating with interdisciplinary teams. This position offers a sign-on bonus and opportunities for growth.
Requirements
- Prepares patient and equipment for catheterization procedures.
- Obtains and records hemodynamic, electrical, and angiographic data.
- Attends to patient needs during cardiac studies.
- Monitors patient’s vital signs during and after cardiovascular procedures.
- Assists in the collection of arterial and venous blood samples.
- Participates in life-saving measures.
- Completes nursing history if appropriate.
- Collaborates with interdisciplinary team members.
- Serves as a role model to peers.
- Performs special projects and assignments.
