Job Description
Covenant Medical Management is seeking a Coding Auditor-Educator-Clinician to provide consulting services to the organization's management and staff, educate coders and CDI, and ensure coding compliance. This role involves training, research, and problem-solving to comply with regulations. The position reports to the Corporate Coding Manager or CFO.
Requirements
- Identify and evaluate company risk areas
- Educate coders and CDI staff
- Provide coding education and feedback
- Review CMS and OIG publications
- Perform research and analysis of CPT coding
- Ensure compliance with Medicare, Medicaid guidelines
- Assist with implementation of solutions to maintain compliance
