Job Description
The Director of Patient Accounting is responsible for providing strategic leadership and operational oversight for all patient accounting functions across the health system, ensuring effective management of accounts receivable, billing, collections, posting, cashiering, and customer service operations.
Requirements
- Minimum of five (5) years of experience in a hospital business office or equivalent
- Knowledge of Medicare, Medicaid, and third-party payer regulations
- Bachelor's degree in a directly-related field from an accredited college or university (preferable)
