Job Description
Methodist Medical Center of Oak Ridge is seeking a LPN for a full-time, rotating position. The role involves providing direct patient care and assisting with health education, while operating within a high-volume setting with many specialized doctors and nurses. This position offers the opportunity to contribute to innovative treatments and cutting-edge patient care.
Requirements
- Graduate of an accredited school of practical nursing.
- Knowledge of general nursing theory and practice.
- Knowledge of hospital policies and procedures.
- Knowledge of infection control.
- Must be currently licensed by the Tennessee Board of Nursing as a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) or have a temporary permit.
- Must be certified in the life support program(s) specific to unit(s) worked (CPR, ACLS, NALS) or must be recertified during orientation period.
