Job Description
The Medical Technologist is a vital member of the General Laboratory team at Morristown-Hamblen Healthcare System. This on-call position involves performing complex and routine laboratory tests, assisting in quality control, and interacting with physicians. The role requires a commitment to patient care and adherence to high quality standards.
Requirements
- Perform high complexity, routine and specialized clinical Lab tests.
- Follow Laboratory’s procedures for specimen handling and processing.
- Document all corrective actions taken.
- Maintain accurate records of patient results.
