Job Description
Roane Medical Center is seeking a Medical Technologist to perform routine and specialized laboratory tests for diagnosis and treatment of patients. The position involves independent judgment, consulting with physicians, and maintaining quality control. Medical Technologists will also be responsible for assisting students and conducting orientation/evaluation.
Requirements
- Perform high complexity tests.
- Follow Laboratory’s procedures.
- Document all corrective actions.
- Assist in orientation/evaluation of students.
- Maintain quality control and instrument calibration.
- Handle biohazard waste.
