Job Description
This Radiation Therapist II position provides accurate radiation treatment to patients, develops trusting relationships, and acts as a primary therapist. The role involves independent task completion, teamwork, and adherence to radiation safety standards. This position is part of a Radiation Oncology department within Morristown-Hamblen Health System.
Requirements
- Review prescription accuracy.
- Prepare and construct radiation therapy equipment.
- Administer radiation doses based on treatment plans.
- Educate and reassure patients.
- Maintain treatment schedules and records.
- Collaborate with medical physics and equipment engineers.
- Train Radiation Therapy students or newly hired therapists.
